THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF ILLINOIS
      SOUTHEAST CARROLL...

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      WESTERN OGLE...

AT 10 03 PM CST...THE WHITESIDE COUNTY SHERRIFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED
MARBLE TO GOLFBALL SIZED HAIL NEAR THE TOWN OF COLETA...WHICH IS
ABOUT 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ROCKFORD IN NE WHITESIDE COUNTY. THE
STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

SOME COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM...
MILLEDGEVILLE...POLO...FORRESTON.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORECED
SHELTER.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE WINDS OF 60 MPH OR
GREATER...LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN THAT
CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
