OHZ005-010-092015- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DAYTON OH 317 PM EDT MON JUL 9 1990 THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL WERE ACROSS DARKE...MIAMI...AND CHAMPAIGN COUNTIES IN WESTERN OHIO AT 315 PM EDT. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN OHIO BETWEEN GREENVILLE IN DARKE COUNTY AND COLUMBUS. THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS DRIFTING SOUTH AT AROUND 15 MPH. PEOPLE IN PREBLE...MONTGOMERY...CLARK...AND GREENE COUNTIES IN WESTERN OHIO CAN EXPECT THESE THUNDERSTORMS TO SPREAD INTO THEIR COUNTIES BETWEEN 320 AND 400 PM EDT. OHZ008-092355- SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CINCINNATI OH 714 PM EDT THU JUL 5 1990 THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO. A BAND OF STORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE INDICATED BY THE RADAR AT 705 PM ALONG THE NORTHERN EDGE OF BUTLER AND WARREN COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST OHIO. THE STORMS IN THE AREA WERE MOVING TO THE EAST 35 MPH. THIS AREA OF STORMS WILL DRIFT TO THE SOUTH OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF BUTLER AND WARREN COUNTY BY 8 PM. HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL ARE LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS. SINCE THE AREA OF STORMS ARE FROM WEST TO EAST AND THE STORMS WITHIN THE AREA ARE MOVING TO THE EAST...THE REPEATED PASSAGE OF STORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN FALL AMOUNTS IN SOME AREA.
