SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA

IN EAST NORTH CAROLINA
          ...PAMLICO

RADAR AT WILMINGTON SHOWS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER CRAVEN AND PAMLICO
COUNTIES. THEY WERE MOVING EAST AND WILL BE OVER THE SOUTH PART OF THE
PAMLICO SOUND BEFORE 5 PM.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OF 60 MPH TO OVER 100
MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY
DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN
INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE.
