THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
      SOUTHERN BLADEN...SAMPSON

AT 955 PM EDT THE WILMINGTON RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
NEAR PARKERSBURG IN BLADEN COUNTY. THIS LOCATION IS SOUTH OF
ROSEBORO. THE STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST NEAR 35 MPH.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
