THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF KANSAS
NORTHERN GREENWOOD
AT 803 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN NORTHERN
GREENWOOD COUNTY...NEAR MADISON. MADISON IS 19 MILES SOUTH OF
EMPORIA. THERE HAD BEEN REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS IN THE NORTHERN
PART OF GREENWOOD COUNTY FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT PEOPLE.
THIS TORNADO WILL MOVE VERY SLOTLY TO THE SOUTHEAST AND PEOPLE IN
MADISON AND LAMONT SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT.
TAKE COVER AT ONCE. DON/T WAIT UNTIL THE STORM IS UPON YOU...IT
