THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF KANSAS
      GREENWOOD

AT  110 AM CDT...RAIN CONTINUED TO FALL IN NORTHERN GREENWOOD COUNTY
NEAR THE MADISON AREA. THE AREA HAS ALREADY RECEIVED 51/2 INCHES OF
RAIN TONIGHT. HIGHWAY 57 WAS CLOSED IN SPOTS EAST OF MADISON.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST.

 RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINS IN THE WARNING AREA WILL LIKELY FLOOD
STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS. RBE CAREFUL DRIVING AND DON/T TRY TO
CROSS WATER RUSHING OVER ROADS.
