THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      SOUTHERN MARION

AT 705 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 44 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SALINA OR 8 MILES SOUTH OF HILLSBORO.  THIS STORM WAS
MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MILES AN HOUR TOWARD PEOBODY.

LARGE HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

 IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A
REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...
VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.
