A DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR BOTH GALVESTON AND CHAMBERS COUNTIES..THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AND GALVESTON BAY... DENSE FOG CONTINUES TO REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO NEAR ZERO OVER PORTIONS OF GALVESTON AND CHAMBERS COUNTIES..THE COASTAL WATERS AND GALVESTON BAY. ALTHOUGH SOME FOG-FREE AREAS MAY BE FOUND..NO SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IS FORESEEN BEFORE THE EXPECTED COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE LATE TONIGHT. MARINERS AND OPERATORS OF SMALL CRAFT SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR AREAS OF SEVERELY REDUCED VISIBILITIES...ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGH-VOLUME TRAFFIC AREAS NEAR THE CHANNEL ENTRANCES AND ALONG THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY. THOSE VESSELS NOT EQUIPPED WITH PROPER NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEMS SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE EQUALLY CAUTIOUS..ESPECIALLY ON THE CAUSEWAY AND ALONG THE SEAWALL.
