AT 350 PM THE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA SOUTHWARD ALONG THE WESTERN BORDER OF SOUTH CAROLINA THEN SOUTHWESTWARD THROUGH THE ATLANTA GEORGIA AREA. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AND NORTHEAST NEAR 30 MILES AN HOUR.
