...TORNADO WATCH NO LONGER IN EFFECT IN SOUTH CAROLINA...
...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR ALL OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA
EXCEPT OCONEE COUNTY UNTIL MIDNIGHT...
AT 750 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM
WESTERN SECTIONS OF PICKENS COUNTY TO WEST OF ANDERSON AND THEN
EXTENDING SOUTHWEST TO THE ATHENS GEORGIA AREA.  THIS LINE HAS
MOVED THROUGH OCONEE COUNTY WITH NO REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER.

THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE ATHENS AREA MOVING TOWARD
THE EAST.  SOME OF THESE STORMS CONTINUE TO PRODUCE REPORTS OF
WIND DAMAGE AND LARGE HAIL.  THE WIND GUSTED TO 48 MPH AT THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN ATHENS AT 746 PM.  PEOPLE IN
ANDERSON...ABBEVILLE...AND GREENWOOD COUNTIES SHOULD FOLLOW THE
PROGRESS OF THESE STORMS CAREFULLY.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR ALL OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA
EXCEPT OCONEE COUNTY UNTIL MIDNIGHT...

AT 815 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM
WESTERN SECTIONS OF GREENVILLE COUNTY EXTENDING SOUTHWEST THROUGH
ANDERSON AND INTO GEORGIA.  GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH WERE REPORTED
IN CLEMSON BY THE AGRICULTURAL METEOROLOGIST AS THE LINE PASSED
THERE.

THE MOST INTENSE STORMS WERE SOUTH OF THERE IN GEORGIA.  A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX WAS APPROACHING ABBEVILLE COUNTY /WILL ENTER
AT ABOUT 835 PM/ AND A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING COULD BE REQUIRED
T=HERE IF IT STRENGTHENS.   LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE
WARNINGS.
