THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF COLORADO
      NORTHERN EL PASO...SOUTHERN ELBERT

AT 1300 MDT THE PUBLIC REPORTED VERY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE
FUNNEL CLOUDS ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH OF CALHAN OVER NORTH EL PASO
COUNTY.  THESE STORMS ARE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 10
MPH.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO
A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
