THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF COLORADO
      NORTHERN EL PASO...ELBERT

RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 9 MILES EAST TO 13
MILES EAST OF KIOWA IN SOUTHERN ELBERT COUNTY MOVING SOUTH AT
25 MPH.  THIS STORM WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN EL PASO COUNTY IN
THE NEXT 30 MINUTES AND SHOULD PASS OVER THE TOWN OF CALHAN.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO
A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
