THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF COLORADO
      SOUTHWEST EL PASO

HEAVY RAIN OVER THE PAST FEW HOURS HAVE CAUSED THE FOUNTAIN CREEK
TO RISE CLOSE TO FLOOD STAGE.  SOME AREAS ALONG FOUNTAIN CREEK ARE
PRONE TO EROSION...AND SOME AREAS CLOSE TO FLOOD STAGE MAY BE IN
DANGER OF FLOODING OVER THE NEXT 2 HOURS AS THE WATER CONTINUES TP
RISE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.

TO REPORT SEVERE WEATHER HAVE THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY
RELAY YOUR REPORTS TO THE LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE.

 PERSONS ALONG FOUNTAIN CREEK SHOULD BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY RAISING
 WATER AND PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IMMEDIATELY AS
 WARRANTED.
