THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      ADAMS...CLAY...NORTHERN FILLMORE...KEARNEY

AT 415 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
10 MILES SOUTH OF YORK TO 15 MILES SOUTH OF KEARNEY MOVING TO THE
SOUTHEAST AT 10MPH.  HEAVY RAIN DUMPH LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN AS THEY
MOVE VERY SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST.  HASTINGS REPORTED 2.25 INCHES
OF RAIN IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR UP TO 4PM CDT.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

THIS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS
AND UNDERPASSES.  PERSONS DRIVING IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD WATCH
FOR WATER OVER ROADS...IN UNDERPASSES AND NEAR SMALL STREAMS.
