NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GLASGOW MT
700 PM MDT THU JUN 28 1990

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 800 PM MDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF MONTANA.

     SOUTHERN ROOSEVELT COUNTY AND NORTHERN RICHLAND COUNTY INCLUDING
     THE CITY OF CULBERTSON.

    AT APPOXIMATELY 750 PM THIS THURSDAY EVENING WILLISTON RADAR
    INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CULBERTSON.   
    A SPOTTER IN THIS AREA CONFIRMED CLOUD ROTATION BUT NO TORNADO.
    THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
AVOID WINDOWS. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING
OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

THESE STORMS ARE MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 25 MILES AN
HOUR. WHILE THERE ARE NO WATCHES OR WARNINGS IN EFFECT AT THIS
TIME...PERSONS IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS SHOULD EXPECT BRIEF HEAVY
RAIN...HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. YOUR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL
