FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

   ...EASTERN ELLIS COUNTY...WESTERN KAUFMAN COUNTY

THE FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS FOR ELLIS...KAUFMAN...NAVARRO...AND HENDERSON

STEM AND THE EAST FORK OF THE TRINITY HAVE FAILED IN ELLIS AND KAUFMAN

AND KAUFMAN COUNTIES...AND FURTHER DOWNSTREAM IN NAVARRO AND
HENDERSON COUNTIES.
 
RESIDENTS LIVING NEAR THE MAIN STEM AND EAST FORK OF THE TRINITY
RIVER...AND MOTORISTS TRAVELING IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE
DANGERS OF RAPIDLY RISING WATERS.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
