THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF IOWA
      SOUTHERN PLYMOUTH...

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF IOWA
      NORTHERN WOODBURY...

AT 740 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ALONG
THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY WOODBURY COUNTY LINE 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF
SIOUX CITY. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MILES
AN HOUR.

THIS STORM WILL EFFECT THE NORTH AND EAST SIDES OF SIOUX CITY...
HINTON...LAWTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY 745. PERSONS IN THAT
AREA SHOULD SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOyD LOW LYING AREAS. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM
TAKE SHELTER IN A REINFORCED BUILDING IMMEDIATELY.
