SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA
...SOUTHEASTERN DAVISON...SOUTHERN HANSON
AT 430 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
FROM JUST SOUTH OF MITCHELL TO 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MITCHELL
SOUTH DAKOTA IN HANSON COUNTY. THIS LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
WAS SAGGING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.
SOME CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE ETHAN...ALEXANDRIA...AND
ROCKPORT COLONY. THIS WARNING IS FOR THE AREA SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
90 IN THE WARNED COUNTIES...AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CITY OF
MITCHELL.

REINFORCED SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES WINDS IN EXCESS

AT 320 PM RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL 55 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF SIOUX FALLS OR JUST EAST OF MITCHELL SOUTH DAKOTA IN EXTREME WESTERN HANSON COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 15O MPH AND WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT HANSON COUNTY OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA THROUGH 4 PM. PERSONS IN HANSON COUNTY SHOULD KEEP ALERT TO THE CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
