     ...MONSOON WEATHER BRINGS COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE...
           ...NORTHEAST PLATEAU AND WHITE MOUINTAINS...

ALTHOUGH THUNDERSTORMS WERE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN...THERE HAVE BEEN
SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS THE NORTHEAST PLATEAU AND WHITE MOUNTAINS
BRINGING BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.  THE LOW THIS MORNING AT WINSLOW
AIRPORT WAS 57 WHILE THE TEMPERATURE AT NOON WAS ONLY 63. OVERCAST
SKYS SHOULD CONTINUE TODAY AND POSSIBLY THIS EVENING KEEPING
TEMPERATURES DOWN.  SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING AND MAY DEVELOP INTO MORE THUNDERSTORMS SOME MAY PRODUCE
HEAVY RAIN... DEADLY LIGHTNING...HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. LOOSE
OBJECTS MAY BECOME AIRBORNE AND DANGEROUS.

LOCAL FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES IS
POSSIBLE DURNING SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS OR SHOWERS.
REMEMBER...NEVER ATTEMPT TO CROSS A FLOODED ROADWAY EITHER ON FOOT OR
IN YOUR CAR. DIRT ROADS ON THE NAHVJO AND HOPI RESERVATIONS MAY
BECOME MUDDY AND UNPASSABLE. UNBRIGDED RIVER CROSSINGS SHOULD BE
ADVOIDED.
