THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF MINNESOTA
      SOUTHERN KITTSON...MARSHALL

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITIES OF DRAYTON...STEPHEN AND ARGYLE.
AT 855 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 50 MILES
NORTH OF GRAND FORKS NORTH DAKOTA OR NEAR THE TOWN OF ST. THOMAS
MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR.  OTHER INTENSE THUNDER-
STORMS WERE LOCATED 50 MILES NORTHEAST OF DEVILS LAKE OR 5 TO 10
MILES WEST OF LANGDON NORTH DAKOTA.  THIS STORM HAS PRODUCED
GOLFBALL SIZED HAIL IN WALHALLA..AKRA AND CAVALIER NORTH DAKOTA.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE POSSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

...INTENSE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA...

AT 725 AM CDT...AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS CROSSING THE INTERNATIONAL
BORDER 90 MILES NORTHWEST OF GRAND FORKS NORTH DAKOTA.  THE STORM WAS
ENTERING THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF CAVALIER COUNTY.

IN ADDITION TO VERY HEAVY RAIN THIS STORM COULD PRODUCE HAIL...STRONG
WIND GUSTS...AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING STRIKES.

MOVEMENT OF THE THUNDERSTORM WAS SOUTHEAST 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
BE NEAR THE TOWN OF LANGDON NORTH DAKOTA BY 830 AM CDT.  SOME OTHER
TOWNS I~N THE PATH OF THE STORM ARE HANNAH AND MOWBRAY.
