WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NORTH DAKOTA
NORTHERN GRAND FORKS...NORTHEAST NELSON...SOUTHERN WALSH
THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITIES OF FORDVILLE AND INKSTER.
AT 900 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 60 MILES
NORTHWEST OF GRAND FORKS...NEAR WHITMAN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING
EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. AT 900 PM CDT AIR FORCE OBSERVERS
REPORTED 65 MILE AN HOUR WINDS WITH 1/4 INCH HAIL IN THE LAKOTA/
MICHIGAN AREA. SOME WIND DAMAGE WAS REPORTED.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
