000 TTAA00 KCHA 101917 SVRCHA TNC065-102000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE 316 PM EDT MON SEP 10 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE ...NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY AT 315 PM EDT THE CHATTANOOGA WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY...JUST TO THE NORTHWEST OF THE SODDY-DAISY AREA. THE STORM IS MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST...AND SOME FLOODING OF ROADS AND OTHER LOW LYING AND POORLY DRAINED PLACES MAY OCCUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
