IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...FANNIN COUNTY...GILMER COUNTY...MURRAY COUNTY...PICKENS COUNTY RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF CHATSWORTH GEORGIA EAST OF CLEVELAND TENNESSEE AT 600 PM EDT MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 TO 50 MPH. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS P6ATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE JUST NORTH AND SOUTH OF BRIDGEBORO AND 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOERUN, THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY NORTHWEST. THE COLQUITT COUNTY EMA HAS REPORTED SMALL HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS WITH THESE STORMS..ALSO A HOUSE TRAILER WAS REPORTED BLOWN OVER NEAR DOERUN. PERSONS NEAR THESE STORMS SHOULD BE READY TO TAKE PROTECTIVE ACTION. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS.
