IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...FRANKLIN COUNTY...MADISON COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR JUST EAST OF COMMERCE. MOVING TO THE EAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE 6 MILES SOUTH OF BLAKELY AND JUST NORTH OF ALBANY. NUMEROUS SHOWERS WERE FORMING FROM BLAKELY TO EUFAULA ALABAMA AND JUST NORTH OF ALBANY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY TO THE EAST. PERSONS NEAR THESE STORMS CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE FLOODING OF STREETS AND SMALL STREAMS..DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT.
