IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...LUMPKIN COUNTY...WHITE COUNTY A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAS DEVELOPED OVER LUMPKIN COUNTY OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA AND IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED IN THE NORTHWESTERN CORNER OF THE STATE NOT FAR FROM CHATTANOOGA. ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED IN GILMER COUNTY NORTH OF ELLIJAY. THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING INTO FANNIN COUNTY AND THE LAKE BLUE RIDGE AREA BY 8 PM. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN ALONG WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED AS THESE STORMS MOVE EAST AT 25 MPH. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN ALONG WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED AS THESE STORMS MOVE EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
