000 TTAA00 KCHA 022306 SVRCHA TNC107-022345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE 705 PM EDT WED MAY 2 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE ...MCMINN COUNTY AT 655 PM EDT THE ATHENS POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS HAIL 3/4 OF AN INCH IN DIAMETER IN ATHENS ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN. THIS STORM IS MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST AND MAY MOVE INTO MONROE COUNTY BY 730 PM EDT. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING.
