FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

AT 845 AM CDT...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS DUMPING VERY HEAVY
RAINS FROM LAREDO TO WEST OF GEORGE WEST. THE LARGE AREA OF RAIN WAS
MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT NEAR 10 MPH. LOCALLY HEAVY AMOUNTS OF RAIN
OF OVER TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STORMS. SOME STREET FLOODING
HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE CITY OF LAREDO DURING THE PAST HOUR.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.

...FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH AND
SOUTHEAST TEXAS...

THE WATCH IS FOR THAT PART OF SOUTH TEXAS NEAR AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM
PALACIOS TO SAN ANTONIO...INCLUDING THE SAN ANTONIO METROPOLITAN AREA.
AT 240 AM...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED FROM WEST OF KERRVILLE TO CRYSTAL CITY.
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE THUNDERSTORMS
ALONG WITH POSSIBLE FLOODING OF STREET DURNING THE RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC THIS
MORNING.

NORTH WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH AND TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE 50S AND 60S.
SHOULD ACCOMPANIED THE FRONT.  THE FRONT WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTH AT 15 MPH...
INDICATING IT WOULD MOVE THROUGH SAN ANTONIO DURNING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
