FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH TEXAS
          ...SOUTHERN KINNEY...NORTHERN MAVERICK
          ...SOUTHWESTERN UVALDE...NORTHWESTERN ZAVALA
 
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS HAVE PERSISTED FROM SOUTH OF
BRACKETTVILLE TO SOUTH UVALDE COUNTY TO NORTHEAST OF EAGLE PASS.
RAINFALL ESTIMATES FROM SATELLITE INDICATE BETWEEN TWO AND THREE
INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN THESE AREAS DURING THE PAST TWO HOURS.
THE STORMS ARE MOVING VERY SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST AND SHOULD CONTINUE
TO DROP HEAVY RAINS FOR AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO HOURS.  SOME ROADS MAYALREADY BE FLOODED IN NORTHEAST MAVERICK AND SOUTHWEST UVALDE COUNTIES. 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.
 
REMEMBER...DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE FREQUENTLY RELATED TO
MOTORISTS DRIVING INTO FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS OR FROM CHILDREN
PLAYING NEAR FLOODED STREAMS OR DRAINAGE AREAS.
