WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING

AT 425 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER SOUTHWEST
ANDREW COUNTY MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED

SPECIAL WEATHER AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MO 1033 PM CDT MON JUN 18 1990 AT 1025 PM...A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS NEAR ST JOSEPH MISSOURI. THIS STORM WAS PART OF AN LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WHICH EXTENDED FROM JUST NORTHEAST OF ST JOSEPH TO 40 MILES WEST OF KANSAS CITY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL AFFECT THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE KANSAS CITY ASREA BY 11 PM...AND THE SOUTHERN SECTIONS BY 1130 PM. VERY HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
