THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      BOONE...CALLAWAY...COLE...MONITEAU...JEFFERSON CITY...
      CITY OF COLUMBIA

AT 7PM...LIGHT TO MODERATE SHOWERS CONTINUED OVER CENTRAL MISSOURI
WITH SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN.  STREET
FLOODING CONTINUED AROUND THE AREA WITH SOME ROADWAYS STILL UNDER
WATER.  HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDESTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
NIGHT AROUND CENTRAL MISSOURI.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO
KNOW WHERE YOU ARE IN RELATION TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS THAT
CAN BECOME DEADLY WHEN SWOLLEN BY HEAVY RAIN.  CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS WHEN HEAVY RAIN THREATENS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOOD WATERS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
