THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      BOONE...CALLAWAY...COLE...MONITEAU...JEFFERSON CITY...
      CITY OF COLUMBIA

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED OVER THESE COUNTIES AT 10 PM
AND IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST UNTIL WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT.
STREAMS ARE OUT OF THEIR BANKS AND ROADS ARE COVERED WITH WATER
THROUGHOUT THE AREA.  FLASH FLOOD CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE WELL INTO THE NIGHT.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
