EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF ILLINOIS
      NORTHERN HENRY...WHITESIDE

AT 4 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 20 MILES EAST-
NORTHEAST OF MOLINE ILLINOIS...BETWEEN JOSLIN AND HILLSDALE...
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

SOME CITIES/TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE... ERIE AND
PROPHETSTOWN.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST

THUNDERSTORMS STARTING TO DEVELOP OVER THE QUAD CITIES THIS AFTERNOON.

AT 335 PM CDT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED JUST
ABOUT RIGHT ON TOP TO THE QUAD CITIES AND METRO AREA.  NO MOVEMENT HAD
BEEN DETERMINED AT THIS TIME...BUT SHOULD BE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN
HOUR.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE QUAD CITIES AND VICINITY...BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

AS MOST STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE STILL AT OR ABOVE FLOOD STAGE...BE READY
