SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

AT 623 PM CDT WEATHER RADAR AT WATERLOO SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
10 MILES NORTHWEST OF MASON CITY MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.
THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS FOSTERED A TORNADO JUST WEST OF FOREST CITY
THIS EVENING. THIS STORM IS ALSO CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING WINDS ALONG WITH INTENSE LIGHTNING.
 
RESIDENTS IN THE CITIES OF HANLONTOWN...JOICE...MANLY...NORTHWOOD
AND KENSETT SHOULD BE ALERT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY AS
THIS STORM MOVES EAST.  THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION..TAKE COVER
IMMEDIATELY IF SEVERE WEATHER IS SIGHTED.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONA.LLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN
EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
