SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA
...AITKIN...SOUTHERN CASS...CROW WING...KANABEC
AT 405 AM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING THROUGH THE BRAINERD
AREA OF SOUTHERN CROW WING COUNTY PRODUCING WINDS OF 60 TO 70 MILES AN
HOUR. THIS STORM WAS PART OF A 20 MILE WIDE LINE OF POTENTIALLY
DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 80 MILES NORTH OF ST. CLOUD TO
60 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ST. CLOUD INTO THE MINNEAPOLIS AREA. MARBLE TO
GOLF SIZE HAIL HAS ALSO BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS.
