AT 335 PM CDT RADAR WAS SHOWING THE FIRST OF POSSIBLE WIDE SPREAD THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY BUILDING A LONG A LINE 20 MILES EAST OF DODGE CITY. THE LINE EXTENDED FROM LACROSSE SOUTH TO BUCKLIN TO SOUTH OF ASHLAND KS. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED OVER BUCKLIN KANSAS. THE STORMS WERE TO NEW TO OBSERVE A DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE DEVELOPING QUICKLY THIS AFTERNOON OVER WESTERN KANSAS. PERSONS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND REMAIN CLOSE TO A SHELTER. NOLLERm

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN AND PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL WAS 25 MILES DUE EAST OF DODGE CITY AND MOVING NORTHEAST TOWARDS KINSLEY KANSAS AT 20 MPH. THE STORM WILL ARRIVE KINSLEY BY 430 PM. PERSONS IN SOUTHWEST EDWARDS COUNTY AND ESPECIALLY KINSLEY KANSAS SHOULD STAY CLOSE TO A FORTIFIED SHELTER UNTILL THE STORM PASSES.
