THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF PENNSYLVANIA
      ELK...CAMERON

AT 445 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHEAST
OF WEEDVILLE IN ELK CO. PENNSYLVANIA THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT
35 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD ENTER CAMERON CO. PENNSYLVANIA BETWEEN
515 AND 530 PM EDT.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.  MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS

THE NORTHEAST CORNER TO ALONG THE OHIO RIVER IN EAST CENTRAL OHIO.

AT 1150AM EDT RADAR INDICATED AND AREA OF SHOWERS AND A FEW ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ABOUT 40 MILES WIDE EXTENDING FROM ERIE PA. TO
PARKERSBURG WV. AN AREA OF MODERATE RAIN WAS INDICATED ALONG THE
RIVER FzROM NEAR WHEELING TO PARKERSBURG WV. THIS LINE WAS MOVING
EAST ABOUT 30 MPH AND SHOULD BE OUT OF THE STATE WITHIN THE NEXT
HOUR.
