THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST COLORADO:

     WASHINGTON

AT 1050 PM MDT RADAR WAS INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHWEST
WASHINGTON COUNTY...15 MILES NORTHWEST OF AKRON OR 23 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
STERLING.  ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS DEVELOPING RAPIDLY OVER CENTRAL 
WASHINGTON COUNTY 15 MILES SOUTH OF AKRON.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH.

TOWNS IN THE PATH INCLUDE AKRON AND OTIS.

IF SEVERE WEATHER APPROACHES YOUR AREA..GO TO A STURDY
SHELTER AWAY FROM CREEK BEDS AND OTHER FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

EASTERN DENVER METRO-AREA.  THESE WERE LOCATED BETWEEN WATKINS AND
BARR LAKE...AND IN THE GREENWOOD VILLAGE-SOUTHEAST AURORA AREA.

THESE STORMS SHOULD MOVE EASTWARD AT A MODERATE PACE...BUT COULD
PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOW4NPOURS DURING THE NEXT 30 TO 45 MINUTES.

ANOTHER CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
METRO-AREA...AFFECTING THE AREAS OF HIGHLANDS RANCH...ENGLEWOOD...
AND SOUTH DENVER IN THE NEXT HOUR.
