THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY
IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF NORTH DAKOTA
EASTERN HETTINGER
AT 320 PM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN EASTERN
HETTINGER COUNTY 5 MILES EAST OF MOTT OR 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
DICKINSON. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH AT
10 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL MOVE OVER THE TOWN OF BURT AND JUST TO
THE EAST OF MOTT.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR

BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL ARE POSSIBLE FROM THESE THUNDERSTORMS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 5 TO 10 MILES AN HOUR.
