THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO CONTAIN STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL
...AS WELL AS DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

THEY WERE PART OF AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SCATTERED FROM WATERTOWN
TO WELLSBORO. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS...WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...WERE NEAR AUBURN
AND NEAR OVID IN SOUTHERN SENECA COUNTY.

RADAR AT 7 PM IS SHOWING AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS IN
LEWIS AND NORTHERN ONEIDA CLUNTIES.  BECAUSE THESE STORMS ARE MOVING
VERY SLOWLY EASTWARD THERE COULD BE AREAS OF FLOODING THROUGHOUT THIS
REGION.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THAT NORMALLY FLOODS WITH HEAV_Y RAINFALLS...BE

AT 7:55 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT
SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE COVERING MUCH OF
NORTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.  A VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED
OVER EASTERN SULLIVAN COUNTY...MOVING INTO COLUMBIA AND LUZERNE COUNTIES.
OTHER HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER NORTHUMBERLAND AND TIOGA COUNTIES OF
NORTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.  THIS ACTIVITY WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST NEAR 20
MPH.  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ENTERING NORTHEASTERN
PENNSYLVANIA FROM THE WEST OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.

THESE STORMS MAY CONTAIN VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WIND...AND DANGEROUS
