A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN HAS DEVELOPED IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA ABOUT 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF ROCHESTER...NEAR KELLOG AND WEAVER ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. AT 3 00 PM...VERY HEAVY RAIN...BUT NO WIND...WAS REPORTED AT WABASHA. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH AND SHOULD CROSS THE THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER INTO WISCONSIN BY 3 30 P.M. HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING JUST TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF THIS THUNDERSTORM...BETWEEN PLAINVIEW AND MINNESOTA CITY. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL...AND GUSTY WINDS SHOULD BE EXPECTED IF THESE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND INTENSIFY. ELSEWHERE...SCATTERED...MOSTLY LIGHT...RAINSHOWERS WERE NEAR ZUMBRO FALLS...KASSON...AND AUSTIN IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA.
