NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO..THE NORTH THIRD OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE..THE
SOUTHEAST PART OF THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND WEST OKLAHOMA. LOCALLY
VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO..25 MILES
SOUTH OF CLAYTON. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS ALSO NOTED NEAR TEXLINE..IN
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE.

ELSEWHERE...AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM HAD BEGUN TO DEVELOP OVER THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS..15 MILES SOUTH OF CHILDRESS.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.
