AT 430 PM CDT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO..THE NORTH THIRD OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE..THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND WEST OKLAHOMA. LOCALLY VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO..25 MILES SOUTH OF CLAYTON. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS ALSO NOTED NEAR TEXLINE..IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE.
