THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF SOUTH DAKOTA
      BUFFALO

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE FORT THOMPSON AND
GANN VALLEY.

AT 1135 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 5 MILES EAST OF
FORT THOMPSON MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

AT 1130 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY THE PUBLIC IN A HOUSING
AREA NEAR FOR THOMPSON.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER
IF ONE IS AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR. ABANDON VEHICLES AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR A LOW AREA.
