COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF SOUTH DAKOTA
      SOUTHERN BROWN

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE ABERDEEN...WARNER..

AT 1015 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES WEST
OF ABERDEEN MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

 AT 1015 PM CDT A HAM RADIO SPOTTER REPORTED 62 MPH WIND IN MINA...
10 MILES WEST OF ABERDEEN.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

AT 743 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHCENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
FROM 50 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF PIERRE SOUTH DAKOTA NORTHEAST TO 35 MILES
NORTHWEST OF MOBRIDGE SOUTH DAKOTA. MOVEMEAT OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WAS
EAST AT 25 MPH.

RESIDENTS OF NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA CAN EXPECT HEAVY RAINS AND
POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL ALONG WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS WITH THE THUNDERSTORMS
AS THEY PASS. THE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE EAST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER BY
10 PM CDT.
