000 TTAA00 KABQ 132340 SVRABQ NMC001-140030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 538 PM MDT FRI JUL 13 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE... IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...BERNALILLO COUNTY AT 530 PM MDT A WEATHER SERVICE EMPLOYEE REPORTED ONE INCH HAIL IN RIO RANCHO. RADAR SHOWS THIS THUNDERSTORMS IS MOVING TO THE SOUTH AT 10 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO THE ALBUQUERQUE AREA DURING THE NEXT 30 MINUTES. THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAINS AND OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG THE FOOTHILLS OF THE SANDIA MOUNTAINS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS...THUS WATER MAY RISE RAPID IN THE ARROYOS IN ALBUQUERQUE DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...'VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
