FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE...

IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

   ...EASTERN MORA COUNTY

IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...HARDING COUNTY

AT 605 PM MDT AN OBSERVER IN ROY REPORTED NEARLY ONE INCH (0.95) HAD
FALLEN IN ABOUT 40 MINUTES AND HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED NEAR MILLS..11
MILES NORTH OF ROY.  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE  INDICATED BY RADAR
OVER SOUTHERN COLFAX AND EASTERN MORA COUNTY INTO HARDING COUNTY.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH AND ARE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.


MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
