THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM
AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE...
 
IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
 
   ...VALENCIA COUNTY
 
AT 635 PM A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING THROUGH THE
ALBUQUERQUE AREA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST AT 15
MPH.
 
THIS STORM PRODUCED MARBLE TO 1 INCH SIZE HAIL AS IT MOVED THROUGH
ALBUQUERQUE.  A PEAK WIND GUST OF 72 MPH WAS OBSERVED AT THE
ALBUQUERQUE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AT 633 PM.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A
HALF TO 1.7O INCHES WERE ALSO REPORTED WITH THIS STORM
 
THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING INTO NORTHERN VALENCIA COUNTY DURING THE
NEXT 15 TO 20 MINUTES.  PERSON IN VALENCIA COUNTY SHOULD TAKE THE
NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS.
