FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS
...ANDERSON...COFFEY...OSAGE
AT 525PM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THAUNDERSTORMS AROUND 30 MILES
WEST OF OTTAWA NEAR LYNDON IN SOUTHERN OSAGE COUNTY. ALSO, SEVERE
STORMS WERE LOCATED AROUND 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF EMPORIA IN SOUTHERN
COFFEY COUNTY AND AROUND 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OTTAWA IN SOUTHWEST
ANDERSON COUNTY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHNORTHEAST AROUND
20 MPH. THESE STORMS THREATEN THE TOWNS OF BURLINGTON GARNETT AND
LYNDON. JONN REDMOND RESERVOIR MELVERN RESERVOIR AND POMONA RESERVOIR
ARE ALSO IN THE PATHS OF THESE STORMS.

THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED LARGE HAIL AND HEAVY RAINS. IF THE STORMS REMAIN STRONG, THEY WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTHERN COFFEY AND SOUTHWEST ANDERSON COUNTIES BETWEEN 500PM AND 530PM CDT. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST BETWEEN 20 AND 25 MPH. THE STORMS WILL BE EFFECTING THE TOWN OF BURLINGTON AND JOHN REDMOND RESERVOIR BY 530 PM CDT.
