GUSTY WINDS FOR THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS AS HUGO ROLLS THROUGH.

THE REMAINS OF HUGO WILL CAUSE WIND GUSTS AROUND 50 MPH ACROSS
EXTREME SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA...EAST OF THE CLINCH VALLEY...THIS
MORNING.  THESE SPEEDS CAN CAUSE TREE LIMBS TO SNAP AND SOME VULNERABLE
ROOFING TO BLOW-OFF.  HOWEVER...NO MAJOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO BUILDINGS
SHOULD RESULT THOUGH.  WINDS WILL DECREASE THIS AFTERNOON IN SOUTHWEST
VIRGINIA.

IN SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA...AROUND BLUEFIELD AND BECKLEY...
WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED BETWEEN 9 AM AND 2 PM.
MOTORISTS OF HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ON THE WEST VIRGINIA TURNPIK&E AND
INTERSTATE 64 MAY ENCOUNTER SUDDEN JERKS FROM THESE WINDS GUSTS.
