A THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR OVER SOUTHERN JACKSON COUNTY
PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND 1 INCH DURING THE LAST HOUR.
RAINFALL TOTALS FROM THIS STORM OF AROUND 1 1/2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED
CAUSING SOME LOCAL URBAN FLOODING WITH SOME BRIEF LOCALLIZED
PROBLEMS IN LOW SPOTS OR ON CREEKS WHERE LOCAL FLOODING PROBLEMS
NORMALLY OCCUR.

ELSEWHERE RADAR SHOWS SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WITH THE
STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS FORMING IN A LINE FROM CLARKSBURG TO CHARLESTON
THAN ACROSS TO THE OHIO/KENTUCKY BORDER.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS AND SOME MINOR FLOODING PROBLEMS CAN BE EXPECTED

...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING FOR PUTNAM COUNTY
HAS EXPIRED...

SEVERAL COUNTY ROADS AND PORTIONS OF 34 AND 35 IN THE WINFIELD
AREA WERE REPORTED TO HAVE WATER OVER THEM. THE THUNDERSTORM
THAT PRODUCED THE HEAVY RAIN HAS DIMINISHED AND THE WATER
SHOULD BE RECEEDING.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND DISSIPATE
ACROSS MUCH OF  WEST VIRGINIA AND NORTHEASTERN KENTUCKY BUT
NONE CURRENTLY THREATEN THE AREA.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH THE TRI STATE AREA. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WHICH HAVE PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHEASTERN OHIO AND
WESTERN WEST VIRGINIA IN THE PAST COUPLE DAYS HAVE SATURATED THE GROUND.
THE INTENSITY WILL DECREASE IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
COVERS MOST OF THE TRI STATE REGION. THERE HAS BEEN WELL OVER ONE INCH OF
RAIN IN THE PASS HOUR.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND DAMAGING
WINDS. PEOPLE ALONG CREEKS AND SMALL STEAMS SHOULD MONITOR WATER LEVELS
AND BE READY TO MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY.
